We Were Here, is an interactive sound exhibition that announces our collective and individual place within history and culture.
Through varying and shared relations to Brent we explore cultural heritage, community and home; questioning what it means to leave our mark on society.

We Were Here is a cumulative showcase of sound and visual artworks, conceived and curated entirely by the 20 young creatives from Brent that make up this year’s MYA cohort. This event has been composed to share our work and collaborative practices that we have developed throughout the course of the programme. It is important to us as young people living in Brent that this show also serves to open conversations surrounding personal and collective identities, local and historical archives, and shared and public spaces.
